The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is located in the repurposed Heritage Listed building of the Gladstone Town Hall. Originally designed by Roy Chipps, a Rockhampton architect, the Town Hall building underwent modifications during its construction to serve as a community hall and theater.
It was officially opened on September 15, 1934, and for more than forty years, it accommodated a diverse range of events such as flower shows, boxing matches, debutante balls, film screenings, immunization clinics, amateur theatricals, and weddings.
The Gallery & Museum features four exhibition areas: the Town Hall Gallery, Front Gallery, Museum Room, and O'Connell Space. These spaces host a rotating array of art and historical exhibitions that are refreshed every 6 to 8 weeks.
Monday to Friday, 10am – 4.30pm
Saturday, 10am - 2pm
Closed Public Holidays except ANZAC Day, from 9.15am-11.45am.
Most of the exibitions are free to visit and no tickets are required. However, ther may be a fee for special exihibition or event orgenised by GRAGM.

he building's four exhibition spaces are on ground level with a workshop studio space accessible downstairs with lift access.
